David Anthony Zeyen, 74 years old of Kenosha, WI passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021, at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital, Pleasant Prairie, WI. He was born March 24, 1947, in Kenosha, WI the son of the late Eugene and Valerie (Gregus) Zeyen and remained a lifelong resident. David was married to Rose Wieser of Plymouth, WI from 1969-1992. On March 22, 1997, he married Mary Ann (Huxhold) Coates in Kenosha, WI. David enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing dartball, and especially spending time with his family. He proudly ran the annual Ice Fishing Derby for the Tavern League for many years. David worked his entire career at Snap-on Tools starting in 1967 and retiring in 2003 when the plant closed. Sharing ownership with Mary Ann, he also ran Stoneface’s Bar in Kenosha from 1997 until 2019. Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Mary Ann; his children, Gina (Jeff) Lentz and Steven (Angela) Zeyen; stepchildren, Chris Hinshaw and the late Rick Coates; three sisters, Barb Lamere, Patricia (Wayne) Hansen, Lynn (Michael) May, and one brother, Raymond (Susan) Zeyen; grandchildren, Jordan Lentz, Kayla (Ian) McConnaha, Victoria, Trevor, and Vincent Zeyen, Melissa, Steven, and Ashley; great-grandchildren, Mateo, Mabel, Walter, Hunter, Vinny and Kalo; his dear friend, Pinky and many other friends. In addition to his parents and stepson, David was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Zeyen. Visitation will be held from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. with a service commencing at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Proko Funeral Home. Entombment will be private. David was a neighbor first, and later a client as I called on him as a liquor sales rep at Stone Faces. So sorry to hear Dave passed. Always enjoyed seeing him at the tavern.My condolences to all the family but especially Lynn & Ray.

There was no man nicer than David. The first time we met he treat d me like family. He was generous loving and the kindest man ever. You will be missed my friend and I will keep Maryann safe and sound and give her as much love as I can even tho we are miles apart. RIP we love you. Grace Bill Stacey and Kyle.
