Colleen,What a wonderful treasure you were to our family. You understood the dynamics that made our planning difficult and you stepped right into the fray to make sure everything was done properly. You encouraged us to follow our hearts in making sure we did what was best for mom and our family. We will never be able to thank you for all you did for us and the friendship you bestowed on us. We are sorry we never got around to that dinner. We will miss you very much. Rest in peace sweet lady, you deserve all of God's best! Dawn Herrmann and Lisa Hales

There are no words to describe how surreal this feels and how sad I am. Colleen you truly lived every minute of your"dash" always smiling, happy to help, crack a joke, sing a song and just be a good human being to the lives you touched. You will always live in my heart. I know God has a special project for you, watch over us my friend!

Sad to hear of Colleen's passing. The one and only time we had met was at a Christmas party her sister Kat hosted. Colleen was warm, welcoming and very kind. May she rest in peace. Sending prayers for the family during this most difficult time.

So heartbroken to hear of Colleen’s passing. I will never be able to drink a bottle of water and set it down without thinking (in Colleen’s voice) “good beer”. Forever grateful she was able to officiate our wedding and will cherish the time I spent working with her💜

There are no words that could say how sad I am to see this obituary and what a tremendous loss Colleens leaving us means. I met Colleen when I began working at Proko and we immediately had a mutual admiration for each other. We would talk as if we had known each other our entire lives. It was always a pleasure to work visitations with her and we worked efficiently together. I had always told her that when I passed I wanted her to do my eulogy never thinking that I would outlive her. May you rest in peace Colleen.

I got to know Colleen as a participant in trips with Funeral Directors Life. She cared for so many families and helped families give the gift of a well-planned funeral to their loved ones. As a Minnesotan and a Vikings fan, we enjoyed much friendly banter about our respective NFL teams. We will miss her!

Thanks for spending the last decade of your "Dash" with us. We were so lucky to have you in our lives. The funeral home won't ever be quite the same without you hanging out at the "lamination station" or getting refills from the "hydration station". I'll miss your weekend stories and sharing lunches with you. Thank you for giving so much of yourself to all of us and those you served. We love you and will miss you so much.
