Elmer J. Strassburg, 85 years old, of Kenosha, WI passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha, WI. Donna J. Strassburg, 86 years old, of Kenosha, WI passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Grand Prairie Health & Rehabilitation Center in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Elmer was born in Herman, WI, November 15, 1936, to the late William and Anna (Henning) Strassburg. Donna was born in Durand, WI, February 20, 1935, to the late Charles and Gladys () Benjamin. They were married July 31, 1961, at Lyster Lutheran Church in Nelson, WI. Elmer worked for the United States Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency for 41 years, spending the last 39 years working locally at the Racine-Kenosha branch. Donna was employed as a classroom aid at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and lunchroom aide at Grewenow Elementary School in Kenosha, WI in the late 70’s and 80’s. She enjoyed photography, making greeting cards, coloring in adult coloring books, and music. They are survived by their children David Strassburg of Kenosha, WI, and Carol (Tom) Doucette of Sheboygan Falls, WI. In addition to his parents, Elmer was preceded in death by his brother, Harold; sister-in-law, Margaret Strassburg; two nephews; one niece; and a cousin. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her sister Joyce Benjamin. Private services were held for Elmer & Donna at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Sheboygan, WI.
