Rosie Lee Morgan, passed away at home with her family on December 4, 2021, at the age of 66. Rosie was born on June 11, 1955, to Lottie Mae Booker, and Cleveland Pryor. She was the oldest of 11 children. Rosie was born in Lambert, Mississippi. At the age of 12 years old, Rosie moved to Chicago, Illinois where she received her education. Rosie graduated from Kennedy King College with an Associate Degree in Data Processing. Rosie worked at Paddors’s for several years before moving to Kenosha, Wisconsin in 1990. Rosie was employed at Jockey International before finding a job she loved and adored at KHDS as a Teaching Family Model Supervisor. Rosie worked there for 14 years before retiring.Rosie loved getting together with her family dancing and singing. She was always an easy person to talk to without judgement. Rosie will always be remembered for the unconditional love she gave to others. Rosie spent her leisure time sewing, doing hair for family and friends, and reading the bible, she always said, “It was her favorite book.” Rosie was a renaissance woman.Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland, and Lottie Mae Booker, her maternal grandmother, Frances Morgan, maternal grandfather Cole Morgan, and her brother-in-law, Billy Wayne Shelton.Rosie leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Tracy Morgan-Malone (George). Four sisters, Alice Jean Morgan-Shelton, Perry Ann Morgan, Janice Lorraine Booker (James), and Shaniece Latonya Booker (Hussein). Five brothers, Jimmie Lee Morgan, Sylvester Booker, James Leroy Booker (Lori), Anthony Ray Booker, Rodney Lavell Booker (Marnita), and Timothy Devale Booker. Four grandchildren, Cortez Fernando Sherrod, Clevonte Marquis Sherod (Dajanae), Janajae Aline Malone, and Jada Sharon Lottice Jackson. Five great grandchildren, Knowledge Kayden Thomas, Nazir Marquis Sherrod, Cemaj Marquis Sherrod, Jiselle Ivory Malone, and Jacier Juelz Moses. 15 nieces, 11 nephews, 20 great nieces, 11 great nephews, 1 great-great niece, and 2 great-great nephews. 3 aunts, Cora Lee Morgan, Bessie Lee Morgan, and Sylvia Barnes. 3 uncles, James Henry Morgan, Cole Morgan, Jr., and TeeVester Morgan (Joy). special God daughter, Iberia Sheppard-Gassett (David), her best friend Rosie Bernard, as well as a host of cousins, and friends.
