So sorry for your loss. I knew him thru my work. I met him the first time when he was a trainee at Northfield Block, years ago. He was with Carl Thompson his superior and boss. Thru out the years he became a friend as he would take my company out for an occasional lunch. I talked to him almost daily to get pricing on different items. My nickname for him was Mr. High Price as his prices were always higher than the competitors until you called him and negotiated a deal for the entire job. Then 9 out of 10 times he was in line and the deal happened. When I retired at 62 - 2 years ago I told him to retire early and enjoy life. It was a pleasure to know him and it's shocking news that I did not want to hear this soon. Once again my Condolences on your loss.
