Danny L. Pierce, 74, of Sparta, WI passed away peacefully on November 13, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on May 10,1947, to Elton and Eunice (Knight) Pierce.Danny owned his own auto body shop, detailing and painting vehicles, until he retired. In the remaining years, he would continue working on vehicles with his sons. He loved Westerns, hats and boots, and enjoyed riding his horse, Elvis. His most enjoyment was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Danny was a fun loving father with a great sense of humor, he never met a stranger. Danny is survived by his daughter, Tina (Larry) (Pierce) Lohman of Illinois; sons, Danny (Kim) Pierce of Sparta, WI, Robert (Robin) Pierce of Tunnel City, WI, William (Dawn) Pierce of Sparta, WI, Dustin (Tiffany) Pierce of Sparta, WI, Steven (Heather) Pierce of Tomah, WI and Christopher Quarberg of Gilmanton, WI; 16 grandchildren, Anthony, Alyssa, Timothy, Johnny, Dylan, Brandon, Jacob, Jaiden, Elektra, Cruz, Kiera, Brayden, Nevaeh, Noah, Chloe, and Ashton; three great grand kids, Jayden, Eilam, and Daniel; two sisters, Martha (Jackie) McDonald of Mississippi , Shirley (Richard) Willie of Wisconsin; brother, Billy Pierce of Alabama; and many nieces and nephews. He will be loved and missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elton and Eunice; brothers, Wayne and Larry Pierce; nephews, Timmy Pierce and Sammy Carter; and grandson, Brayden. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation, 106 W. Franklin St., Sparta, with Pastor Mike Ohman officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation.
