Dorothy Elaine (Bakken) Watson, age 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Library Terrace in Kenosha, WI. Dorothy was born on January 1, 1930, in Richland Center to Alfred and Anna (Vitcenda) Jensen. She enjoyed spending time with her family and teaching them the art of Lefsa making and canning. She was a lifetime member of the VFW, holding different positions of office. She was also involved with the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans, with lifetime memberships at both. She also volunteered many hours at the VA hospital in Tomah, WI. She is survived by her brother, Orville Jensen; her children, Michael Dahl, Shirley Harms, and Joyce Goetz; her grandchildren, James Locast, Ann Galinsky, Renee Hogan, Chris Leker, and Amy Riley; 10 great grandchildren; and her stepchildren, Dennis Bakken, Michael Watson, Gregory Watson, Thomas Watson, and Anne Olson. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers Orvin (infant) and Conrad Jensen.
