We met Mike when he came to live in our apartment. He ended up being a super tenant and only enhanced our home, in fact Steve and Mike took out an old porcelain tub, which was quite a feat, God Bless them. We then got to see him at family gatherings, even after he moved away. The last time we saw him and his beautiful wife, was at Anthony's for the wedding reception of our grandson and his beautiful wife, Maggie. Mike always had a smile that could warm a room, always happy, so very sad for everyone that will miss him. Way too soon.

OMG, the Gifford's were the first family we met when we moved to portage. we used to race old junk cars in the fields before we had our drivers licenses across the road at Steve kriers field. crazy fun.... snowmobiles, motorcycles, etc. mike could ride a wheely for blocks on his 750 Kawasaki. I just talked to him not long after Kurt Kluge's passing. Way to young. wow....
