My deepest condolences to Mikes loved ones. I have worked with him for a few years now, and he was such an amazing person. He was so very kind, treated everyone equally and never dumbed the conversations down. A great engineer to work with, and he was always so willing to help with issues or concerns I had at work. Thank you Mike. Rest well.

My deepest Condolences to all of Michael`s loved ones. He was more than a co-worker, I am honored to call him a friend and to have had the chance to know him, even if only for a short time. His sense of humor made a long work day turn into a short fun-filled one. He was always going above and beyond to help others and everyone that he has touched will miss him dearly. I sincerely wish all his Friends and Family peace during this difficult time.

Mike was one of the most gentle and kindest men I have ever met. He genuinely didn't judge anyone and I have also always admired how talented he was with his music. I am so grateful to have been given the gift of knowing him, no matter how brief and long ago it was. I wish it was for longer....

I have sad, melancholy feelings. When we were both working at WMS, when not on work assignments, we would talk about his music and mine, guitars, writing styles. I admired his music and charm. I even went so far as to learn a couple Trolley songs because they were REALLY great, and unfortunately, somewhat prescient. ("You Had to Fall" was a particularly chilling song, listening to it this morning). I pray he has found the peace he could not find in our world. He will have a lot of great company in Heaven. Goodbye Mike. Shalom b'ahava (Peace and Love in Hebrew)

So very sorry to hear about Mike. I worked with Mike for many years at WMS In Waukegan. I admired his drive and determination for starting out working in security, going to school at night, and getting his degree. I enjoyed working with him on the various projects over the years. I was honored when he asked to use me as a reference source for his graduation project. I also enjoyed talking with him about Trolley. We had not communicated very much, but I will miss him.Rest in Peace Mike.Ron Kocol
