Becky and I have know Gary for 34 years, and his sweet angel Kathi for 5 years. Other than his children and grandchildren. Kathi is the best thing that ever happened to Gary.We met Gary at John Deere Credit, and he was 39 going on 25, and played on all the sports teams. And coed teams. Gary and Ed would run 3 miles over the lunch hour back then. That's what ruined his knees maybe.Part 2 to follow

Dearest Kathi,Words do not suffice to express the profound sorrow that I feel for you on Gary’s passing. The hardest part of losing him is the knowledge that, because so his illness, so many chapters in the book of your lives will go unwritten. I pray that the years that you had together, and the love of your families and friends will console you in all of the days to come.Gary was a very kind and gentle man. I will always have the picture of you two at our fiftieth reunion in my mind. The happiness that radiated from you both was obvious and palpable.Love, Mike
