Louann A. Wildenberg, 78, of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021, at Froedtert South – Pleasant Prairie. Born in Kenosha on June 26, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Robert P. and Fay M. (Rittenhouse) VanZile. On December 11, 1975, she married Donald W. “Duck” Wildenberg. He preceded her in death on November 3, 2016. She was a homemaker who enjoyed reading and crafting, especially knitting, cross stitching, and ornament making. Survivors include two children, Debbie (Robert) Alderson and Robert Mecozzi; and two grandchildren, Ashley and Brandon Mecozzi. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Aside from her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son in infancy, Jeffrey Mecozzi; a sister, Rosemary Johnson; two brothers, James and Robert R. VanZile; and her first husband, Darrell Mecozzi. Louann was a really good neighbor always saying hi to the people around her. We had really great visits when she would call at night or during the day. Louann was more than a neighbor, she was a really good friend. We will miss Louann a lot. Darcy and John Imbrogno
