Karen A. Toff, 60, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 10, 2021, in her home surrounded by her family. Born in Chicago, IL on August 18, 1960, she was the daughter of Daniel and the late Shirley Weber. She married her beloved husband, Gregory Toff, in Chicago 39 years ago. Karen worked in the Des Plaines Park District as a preschool teacher for more than 20 years. In her spare time, she loved to Cross stitch, challenge her mind in Sudoku, camp with family, making campfires, and color in her coloring books while listening to her country music. She was ecstatic when she witnessed the Cubs winning the World Series all while yelling at the tv with Greg. Most of all, she loved spending time with her cherished grandchildren. Survivors include her three children, Joshua (Melissa), Jessica (Matthew) Mok, and Joanna; five grandchildren, Kenzie, Emma, Hailey, Jade and Bryce; her father, Daniel Weber; and her siblings, Linda, Ken, Jerry, and Christine. She is further survived by other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Shirley Weber. A memorial service will be held at G.L. Hills Funeral Home 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines IL, 60016. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 22nd from 11 until the time of service at 2 p.m. Since Karen was the biggest Cubs fan, feel free to wear your Cubs attire or Cubs colors. Facial coverings will be required upon entry.Proko Funeral Home & Crematory5111-60th Street Kenosha, WI 53144Phone: (262) 654-3533Visit & Sign Karen’s Online Memorial Book at:www.prokofuneralhome.com

When I married my husband Don, I became part of a wonderful family! Yearly there would be large family and extended family picnics that we would all meet up and play games, eat food and catch up! When I met Karen she was full off so much energy and had such a great smile and personality, I felt like I had known her forever! I remember my husband and Karen asking me to join in on the volleyball games that we would have at these picnics it was so much fun! Karen will be missed so much by so many but we know she's in Heaven playing volleyball with Don and watching Cubs games together! To the entire family I am deeply sorry for your loss and may God's comfort and peace surround all of you!
