My condolences to the family. My dad and Al worked together at AMC. Al was one of his best friends and I would say partners in shenanigans. My dad (Bill Doyle) truly loved your father. As I little girl I can remember him coming over , as a. young adult I always remember him coming over and visiting my dad when he got sick. He would always talk about his kids and how proud of them he was ! My prayers and thoughts are with your during this difficult time. Al was a remarkable man and will be missed by many.

My sincere condolences to the family. Aldus was such a gentle person who I feel privileged to have known him. I met the Gladney's through the KYF. My son was on the Barracuda Swim Team with Al so very many years ago. Aldus was such a warm and friendly person and certainly a devoted family man. I met up with him while shopping after his wife passed and I could see the heartbreak in his face. But, he kept on going and continued to enrich the lives of others with his kindly manner. May he rest in peace with his lovely wife and may peace enter the hearts of his family.

Mr. Gladney was always such a kind man. We lived in the St. Mark's neighborhood from 1960-67 and went to St. Mark's for mass. Because we could not eat before mass in order to take communion, I would often faint and whenever I came to, Mr. Gladney was there with a chair or seat in the back of the church for me. I remember seeing him around town over the years and always thought kindly of him and my days in my old neighborhood. You were a wonderful man and "usher" of kindness and faith in our community Mr. Gladney.
