Edward C. Yells, 48, of Beach Park, IL, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021, at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital. Born on June 8, 1972, he was the son of the late Charles and Barbara Yells. He graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management. He was employed as a Claims Consultant with Allstate for 23 years. On March 29, 2008, he married Christine Vena at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wadsworth. Ed achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and remained actively involved as a leader for his son’s Cub Pack, and with the Northeast Council of the BSA. He was a member of the Waukegan Elks Lodge #702 and served as a Past Exalted Ruler. He is survived by his wife, Christine Yells; his children, Zachary (11) and Emma (7); his mother, Barbara Yells; one sister, Vicki Kirk; nephews, Michael Kirk and Charlie Kirk; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chuck and Pat Vena; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Chuck Vena and Katie Brothen; and nieces, Kaylee and Alaina Vena, Addison and Kennedy Brothen.
