Samir Badih Massouh

Samir Badih Massouh, 75 years old, of Kenosha, WI passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Froedtert Kenosha Hospital. He was born in Tripoli, Lebanon on September 22, 1945, the son of the late Badih and Henriette (Tacla) Massouh. Samir attended the International College in the American University of Beirut, Berry Academy, Fullerton College, the University of Southern California Santa Barbara, and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (MA, MDiv). Samir was a professor of Biblical Studies at Trinity International University for 28 years. Before teaching at Trinity College, Samir served in the US Army, taught at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, pastored at Elmbrook Church, and was on the translation committee of the Arabic Holy Bible. He was a long time member of Kenosha Bible Church and later Christ the King Church. Samir enjoyed museums, classical music, movies, and reading. Samir loved spending time with others. He was a proud supporter of TIU’s soccer teams, and loved spending time with his students, friends, family and especially his grandchildren. Samir is survived by his children, Leila (Timothy) Milinovich and Jameel (Sara Thorlton) Massouh; and four grandchildren Thomas, Margie, Riley, and River. In addition to his parents, Samir was preceded in death by his brother Farid Massouh, his uncle Ramzi Massouh, and his cousin Ghassan Khammu. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 20th, at 3:00 p.m. at Kenosha Bible Church, 5405 67th St, Kenosha, WI 53142.
