Walter P. Zelenski

Walter P. Zelenski, 93, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, January 4, 2021. Born in Scranton, PA on December 31, 1927; he was the son of the late John and Lottie (Sclarski) Zelenski. He was one of seventeen children. Walter served in the United States Navy until he was honorably discharged. He was employed by Chrysler for 42 years until his retirement. Walter is survived by his daughter, Cindy (LeRoy) Weaver of Pleasant Prairie; his granddaughter, JeriLynn (Robert) Hurley of Chesapeake, VA; two great grandsons, Benjamin and Samuel Hurley; four sisters, Agnes Kartezenis, Shirley Shemanski, Barbara Arthur, and Rose Marie Guilfoy; and two brothers, Jerry Zelenski and Paul Zelenski. He is further survived by other family and friends. He was preceded in death by seven sisters, Helen Solomon, Mamie Gladys, Jennie Avelino, Stella Skotz, Dorothy Russom, Ann Marie Boyko, and Betti Downes; and three brothers, his twin, John Zelenski, Joe Zelenski, and Tommy Zelenski. So sorry to hear about Wally. We got to be good friends at AMC when I started there in 1973. Wally was a good hearted person and always did right by me. My condolences.
