Nelly C. Ricchio

Nelly C. Ricchio, 94 years old of Kenosha, WI passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at North Point Senior Living, Kenosha, WI. She was born September 25, 1926, in Belgium, the daughter of the late Petrus and Maria (Van Hees) Adriaenssens. On November 3, 1945, she married Louis K. Ricchio in Belgium and they emigrated to the United States in 1946. They were members of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Pompeii Catholic Church, Kenosha, WI. Her hobbies included crocheting, knitting, solving crossword puzzles, and word searches. Nelly also enjoyed traveling. Survivors include her children, Ike (Judy) Ricchio of Kenosha, WI, Gabriel (Donna) Ricchio of Trevor, WI, and Carl (Carmella) Ricchio of Kenosha, WI; ten grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Proko Funeral Home with services commencing at 12:00 noon. Entombment will be private in All Saints Mausoleum, Pleasant Prairie, WI. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Seasons Hospice, 6400 Shafer Ct. When ever we would visit Mr. and Mrs . Ricchio, Nelly always put food on the table and encouraged us to eat, even when we weren’t hungry. She will always be remembered as a sweet loving woman.
