Michael C. Martinson, 45, of Kenosha, found peace on Thursday, November 5, 2020, after a brief illness. Michael was born on August 6th 1975, to Donna Lynn (Murray) Krahn. Michael was educated in local Kenosha schools, later receiving his diploma. On November 25th 1998, Michael married Kelley N. Koetz, later getting divorced in 2004. At the time of his death, he was enrolled to attend Gateway Technical College to further his education. When Mike was young, he loved being outdoors to skateboard, swim and play golf. He also enjoyed going sledding, fishing, and dirt biking. Mike absolutely loved to read everything and anything – fiction or non-fiction books, it didn’t matter. As he got older, he loved to go camping, attend live music concerts, cook outs and when he couldn’t be outside, he created beautiful art work. He also enjoyed watching movies while eating Red Vines and Jolly Ranchers. He was also an animal lover and adopted many dogs over the years. Michael acquired self-taught skills which included car mechanics, professional exterior and interior painting, electrical work along with operating CNC machines. He was a “Jack of all trades- master of some”. Mike managed to keep his mental illness in check for the most part; he also struggled with chemical dependency and all it entailed. He was adventurous and loved to laugh. His sense of humor and intelligence will be greatly missed. Despite all of the obstacles that were thrown his way, Michael was full of life. Thank you to all who supported Michael throughout his life. A very special thank you to all of the different medical personnel that Mike encountered throughout his life and treated him over the years. Michael is survived by his daughter, Anastasia N. Martinson; Mother, Donna L. (Murray) Krahn; Father, Michial Martinson; Brothers William A. Krahn and Stephen E. Krahn; Niece, Ahrie M. Muche; and Nephew, Riley L.
