Mary K Hansen
Mary “Sissy” Siepler Hansen a chosen daughter of God, returned home on Wednesday, September 30, 2020, for a glorious reunion with her savior, family, and friends. She was known as a “Pollyanna” because she had the gift of truly seeing the best in everyone. She had the normal “hobbies” like scrapbooking, but her reasoning was because the pictures reminded her of all the wonderful memories in her life. She was a huge Packer fan as well, in fact people down the street could hear her yelling. She also enjoyed decorating, whether it was her house, her garden, or even her outfits that became known as “Sissy Outfits”. She had a flare for whatever she touched. But her greatest gift was her love for the people in her life. Time with friends and family was her greatest joy. Sissy was also very successful in her career, but she didn’t really want that to be the focus. She was proud of all that she accomplished, but to her that was not life. She found her greatest joy from her faith. She always felt an amazing connection to God, and no matter what life threw at her, she never stopped loving and turning to God for her strength. That was proven throughout her life, but especially the last eight years. She passed on from a very long and difficult rare illness, and she still spent her time worrying about everyone else. Heaven has brought their angel home where she belongs. She is survived by her loving husband who never left her side, Randy A. Hansen. Also, by her cherished brother, James E. Siepler; two nephews, Jim and Joe Siepler; three dear nieces; Megan Siepler, and Dayna and Sara Merkes; her “adopted” brother, Michael Cottrill; stepdaughter, Karrie Lee; grandchildren, Camren, Caleb, and Conner Lee; her shining stars, her two “sisters” Nancy LoCante and Mary Bauer; her Godchildren, Laura Scott, Sarah Seiber and Joseph LoCante; Finally, too many family and friends to mention. She loved you all. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Mary and James Siepler; her grandmother, Esther (Tontie) Schuster who she adored; her aunt, Esther Seiber who was her second mom and who meant everything to her; and Laurie Crosetto, her third mom. Also, her father and mother in law, Kenneth and Ileen Hansen; and brother in law, Kenneth G. Hansen. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 16, 2020, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be held privately at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Proko Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of a special video tribute at 5:30 p.m.Proko Funeral Home & Crematory5111 60th St 262 654 3533Visit & Sign Sissy’s Online Memorial Book At:www.prokofuneralhome.com
