I was deeply saddened when I heard of Hillary's passing. I knew Hillary in the spring of our lives. I still remember meeting her in the cafeteria during my freshman year at Deerfield highschool. Hillary was fiercely loyal to her friends and always put the people she cared for before her own needs. She was genuine and trustworthy, someone that I always found easy to talk to. Like so many other friendships of my youth, I carelessly let ours slip away. I take solace knowing she had a beautiful life, pursuing her passion for animals, finding love, and having a family of her own. I'm only sorry that she was taken from them so soon. Rest in peace Hillary and God bless your family during this difficult time. Sincerely, Scott Terry

I remember a tiny baby with a head full of tight brown curls, big brown eyes, and a healthy cry. A tiny foot peeking from a blanket. I only held you once, but it was enough to melt my heart.
