I remember the day Bobby Bonn arrived at Rockland Jr HS, 6th grade . . . I think he came from Nova Scotia (?) & was wearing a heavy sweater-jacket, with maple leaf symbols on it, I think. Mrs Crowley introduced him at the front of the class. He was cute & shy (the shy part didn't last long!) and I felt his pain. I had been that kid so many times as well. I remember making a personal pledge that I would reach out & be his friend. But I was too shy myself & he launched into athletics & was soon off & running!! God bless him & his family!
