I had the pleasure of working with Dianne for several years at Home Inspired. She always went above and beyond when planning the activities for the Residents! They always enjoyed their time with her. She kept them busy and always had a prize for them. Dianne was so good to her co workers and was always baking and sharing her delicious treats with all of us. It was clear how important her family was to her and she talked about them often. After she stopped working we kept in touch and she was always positive, even though her health was declining. Her faith was strong and she was so kind to everyone. She will be missed by many! I am blessed to have known her and will keep your family in my prayers! Sara Adams

Dianne was a fantastic faith formation director. She was always creative and cared very deeply for everyone who came through the church's door. She was especially effective at RCIA so that many adults came to the faith and are forever grateful for her thoughtful care. She will be missed by the church but not as much as by her family for whom she had so much love. With Prayers,Fr. Michael Erwin

Dianne and I worked together at St. John's for many years. She was a joy in my life and in the lives of my kids. She spoiled them with pretzels, chocolate, jokes, dancing Santa decorations at Christmas and lots of love! They all have fond memories of her bubbly spirit and her tender heart. I know many kids at St. John's flocked around her. She had a magnetic personality, especially for children. She holds a special place in my heart. Even though we didn't see each other often, anytime I go to Hobby Lobby or Goodwill, I keep my eyes open hoping our paths will cross (as it seemed like we'd often see each other there). You and your family are in my prayers - I know she loved you all so much!

Dianne was such a special person. I am honored to call her friend. We made some wonderful memories together, often over a meal. She made me laugh, made me feel better about myself and stood by me when my faith wavered. She loved her family so much and delighted telling me stories about her grandsons. She was always giving herself to others. She will be greatly missed, but always with grateful thoughts. My prayers and thoughts to all her family.

Diane was my classmate at Southold High School and good friend on Facebook. She was a lovely person, very creative and kind and I will miss her a lot. I enjoyed her photos of her grandchildren and hearing a very talented one play guitar! I was hoping we could meet up back in Southold when she came to visit her sister but it didn’t happen. May she be happy in Heaven while watching over her children and grandchildren! Barbara Terry CharnewsBarbara Terry Charnews
