I met Chris a little over a year and a half ago with an introductory flight. During the flight, I mentioned to him that my son was getting ready for prom. He thought it would be a good idea to land on our property to add something special to the prom pictures. My son and his friends were thrilled to see a helicopter coming in - especially considering that one of them was interested in aviation. That kind gesture really made their day. With that, I was sold on Chris being my instructor to get my rotor-wing license. Chris was a very practical and thorough pilot and was extremely flexible with his time. He worked around your schedule which made flying with him a wonderful experience. Throughout this time, I really considered Chris a friend and a mentor. Chris also had a special affection for our Golden Retriever, Ariel and asked about her often. He will be truly missed.
