Karen Louise Sweat, 91 years old of Kenosha, WI, formerly San Juan Capo, CA passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Brookdale Senior Living, Kenosha, WI. She was born August 6, 1928 the daughter of the late George and Irene (Walkup) Jenkins. Karen loved music, played piano by ear, and for many years she sang with her church choir. Survivors include her children, J. Michael Sweat of Mundelein, IL, James Sweat of Kenosha, WI, and Linda Williams of Waukegan, IL; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a niece Stacey (Craig) Constantine; and a great-nephew, Christian Constantine. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her sister, Olga Boles Stromerson. Funeral services and interment will be private. Arrangements were entrusted to Proko Funeral Home.
