Romelia Bueno, 72, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Brookside Care Center. Born on August 8, 1947 in Zacatecas, Mexico; she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Delfina (Marquez) Solis. On November 20, 1963, she married Manuel Bueno in Mexico. They moved to Kenosha in 1990. Romelia was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, cleaning, helping others, and traveling to her home in Mexico. She is survived by her husband, Manuel of Kenosha; son, Francisco Bueno; granddaughter, Anarali Bueno; three sisters, Olivia Munoz, Francisca Murillo, and Oralia Solis; two brothers, Gustavo Solis and Jaime Solis; and many special nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Romelia was preceded in death by her parents; a brother in childhood; her sister, Julia Marquez; and her nephew, Manuel Pereida. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 25th at Proko Funeral Home at 4:00 p.m. Interment will be private. A visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
