Born in Marano Principato, province of Cosenza, Italy, on November 23, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Rafaella (Reda) Esposito. In December of 1955, she married Carmine Ziccarelli in Italy. They moved from Italy to Argentina, then made the United States their home in 1963. He preceded her in death on April 7, 2000. She was a member at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Faith and family were the most important things to Ada. She loved having everyone together for the holidays, being sure to cook and bake everyone’s favorite dishes. Before anyone could leave her home, Ada made sure they had more than their fair share and left stuffed. Survivors include her three sons, John (Carol Zimmerman) Ziccarelli, Edward (Antonella) Ziccarelli, and Carmine (Marianne) Ziccarelli; five grandchildren, Krysten (Miles) Merten, Nicholas Ziccarelli, Sr., Ada Ziccarelli, Chiara Ziccarelli and Chad (Lisa) Zimmerman; five great-grandchildren, Abby, Jacob, Cameron, Nick Jr., and Marley Rion; and a brother, Pasquale Esposito. She is further survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Domenico and Pepino Esposito. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 2224-45th Street, on Wednesday, February 20th, at 11:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior from 9:00 a.m. until a prayer service at 10:45 a.m. The family would like to thank the staff at Kenosha Hospital, and a special thank you to Alba and everyone else who stopped by to show their support.Proko Funeral Home & Crematory5111-60th StreetKenosha, WI 53144Phone: (262) 654 3533Visit & Sign Ada’s Online Memorial Book at:www.prokofuneralhome.com

Dear John and family... we are thinking of you. What a pleasure to have met your mom , and speak to her every time she called the store " Can I speak to John" …..we all knew it was Mrs. Ziccarelli. Her adorable voice always made me smile. God bless you all during this difficult time. Mark and Lisa Lewis

To the family of Ada, I met this sweet lady at Manor of Kenosha when I was there last November. We shared many meals together but my favorite memory was from rehab when we'd have to work play-dough with our hands. I'd struggle with mine but she approached hers like it was bread dough. Her tiny hands were incredibly strong! I am so glad I got to meet and spend time with Ada. My condolences to all of you.
