I just happened to come across this obituary recently and have been thinking about David since. I was friends with David in high school and college. I laughed out loud when I read, "David was known for his loud voice and his big heart." Yes, that certainly is the David I knew! I have many fond memories of dancing and laughing with David and our group of friends. I enjoyed reading about the many lives he touched. I am glad that marriage equality came to be the law during our lifetime, and I am glad to learn that David was married to a loving husband. Rest in Peace.

I remember how you set the trend at Toyo wearing tight black t-shirts. Loved the cream horns. You were my favorite ass. Manager. I feel so bad for Becky and Chuck.

David, you were one of my “favorite” nephews. When you were little, you were my little Ringo Star. Whenever you saw me you would yell out “Aunti Pat”. I will miss you, my little Beatle. Love you forever!

I am so, so sad, and will miss your booming laugh and generous spirit, David. When I was little, and the only "kid" in the family, you and Alan always took time to play with me when we would visit Kenosha from Detroit... and you will always have a special place in my heart. I can't believe you are gone, but your spirit will light up the world forever. Rest in peace, dear Cousin.

David will be missed by many. His mind so sharp. I always look back and laugh at our big adventure to Staten Island for George P's wedding. David, Sue, Kurt-Su and myself. One of the best times I have had. I know that many will miss the best biscotti ever. God Bless.

OMG...is about all I can say. We may have not spent much time together these past several years but we sure spent a lot of time together as kids and young adults. We have so many stories we made together and I think about them all the time and will continue to think of them for the rest of my life however long that may be. I will always cherish those times, those stories as if they happened yesterday...from our trips to Parkside and crawling thru the bars to get into the Rec Center when we were 10 to 15 years old, to saving u from drowning when u fell through the ice in Pets Park, to our 7th grade science experiment where we used gun powder to fuel our home made volcano which caught on fire but Mr Flaht gave us an "A" anyways to so many many more. I miss those good times my beloved friend. Thank you for giving me so many to carry me through the rest of my time here. Thank you and I do hope you are in peace now. Love you David no matter what! Sorry to hear about this. Sorry to all his Toyota friends. I know David was like a son to Becky H and was especially close to Chuck B. David was extremely outgoing and liked to press the flesh.
