Cheryl Ruth Stoeber, 72, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 17, 2018, at Brookdale Kenosha. Born in Covington, KY, on December 1, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Stuard and Doris (Henkenberns) Wegener. She lived in northern KY for 38 years, southern CA for 20 years, and Las Vegas for 11 years until she moved to Kenosha, WI. Cheryl was a graduate of Dixie Heights High School, Fort Mitchell KY, Eastern KY University, and received her master’s degree in psychology from Phillips Graduate University. On August 10, 1973, she married Dale Stoeber in Cincinnati, OH. Cheryl worked as a registered nurse for 20 years, then she practiced marriage, family and child therapy for 10 years before opening her own practice, Valley Counseling Center, in Thousand Oaks, CA, which she owned and operated for 10 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Dale of Kenosha; two sons, Dean (Kelly) Stoeber and Jay Stoeber; four grandchildren, Ryan, Patrick, Jaydin and Olivia Stoeber; and her sister, Darleen Cors.
