Edward K. Hoff, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at Froedtert South-St. Catherine’s Medical Center Campus surrounded by his loving family. Born in Kenosha on October 23, 1930, he was the son of the late Edward A. and Genevive (Tomczak) Hoff. A lifelong resident he was educated in local schools and graduated from Mary D. Bradford. On February 14, 1953, he married Jane H. Brever at St. Mark’s Catholic Church; she preceded him in death on February 12, 2000. Edward served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War from 1951 until 1955. He received a National Defense Service Medal as well as a Good Conduct Medal. He was later employed as a Water Meter Technician by Kenosha Water Utility until his retirement. Edward was a member of the Kenosha Coin Club. He was an avid Packer fan and never missed an episode of Jeopardy. He enjoyed bowling with his sons, crossword puzzles and most recently, jigsaw puzzles. He had fond memories of his annual trips to Lake Tahoe with his family. He was also proud to have been able to own 9 Cadillacs over his lifetime. His family meant more to him than anything. Edward’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were his world. Edward is survived by four children, Deborah L. (Brad) Kovachik of Pleasant Prairie, Jeffrey H. (Carol) Hoff of South Carolina, Gregory R. Hoff of Oshkosh, and Kevin M. (Janet) Hoff of Pleasant Prairie; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a sister, Dorothy Isetts, and a brother, Jerome Hoff.
