I read about the death of your love one. I'm sorry for your loss. Death is something that we cannot sever, but love and memories last forever. May the God of "tender mercies and all comfort continue to surround you at this difficult time. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4. God wants to give you peace that surpasses all thought. Philippians 4:6.

As I read these condolences, I see that Jake continued to be a kind and honest man who left a big impression. My memory is that even though Jake was a cool muscular Fonzi kind-of-guy, he always treated us well - even though we were just Patty's teeny-bopper friends. Rozanne, I'm sorry you lost someone so special. Sue

I am so glad that I had to opportunity to work with, get to know, and interact act with Jake during our many years at Snap-on. To put it simply, Jake was one of the good guys. He made us laugh with his many stories and experiences. He was a very conscientious soul who strove to always do what was right. I can honestly say that Jake will live on as a friend through the many positive memories I have of him. May our Lord Jesus Christ look kindly on Jake and have mercy, letting him soar with the Angels. My prayers and condolences are with his entire family and congregation of friends.

Dear Rozanne and family, I can't think of my childhood without Jake in it. He used to come and pick us up on the tractor, take us for rides. Then his mom would come and get after him for hanging with us instead of working on the farm. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Laurie

Drissel Family,I don't think we have ever properly been introduced, but I'd like to think I knew Jake rather well. I met him a few years ago when I was a member at Body Dynamics gym in Kenosha. I've since spent a good number of hours with him at the gym and on the phone talking about life.Him and I had such a unique dynamic in our friendship. He was always so open with me about his past struggles and successes in life, always offering good life advice to me, a guy in his late 20's. Something about Jake's advice and personality really hit home with me. Although he never wanted to admit it, I would always tell him how great of a man he really is. He would casually try to deny it, but he had one of the warmest souls I've ever encountered.Until my time on this earth comes to an end, I will never forget Jake. Even without his words, he taught me a lot just by observing him at the gym. I knew that Jake's body was limiting him, but he remained committed and driven regardless of what obstacles were thrown in front of him. I pray that I can emulate him as I encounter hardships of my own in life. Rest in Peace Jake.. until we meet again friend.Travis Kraft

Just wanted to say Jake will be missed dearly. He was a member at my fitness center where I first met him. We spent many hours chatting about cars, the old days of working out, horses and farming. Jake was very inspirational. He had this terrible disease and yet he still made it to the gym and hit the weights. Will miss ya Jake!!!
