Kathleen McAllister Axelsson, 63, of California, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Froedtert South-St. Catherine’s Medical Center Campus, surrounded by her loving family. The daughter of Elton and Eleanor (Sovich) McAllister, she was born on May 13, 1955, in Kenosha. She was educated in local schools and graduated from Bradford High School. After graduation she attended UW-Oshkosh. From there, Kathleen moved to Milwaukee and worked for the Xerox Corp. In 1992, she moved to Los Altos, CA, and on April 17, 1993, she married Anders Axelsson. Together they had two amazing children, Marcus and Marlena. Survivors include her husband, two children, her mother, Eleanor Christenson, and a brother, Gary (Marta) McAllister, of Kenosha. She was preceded in death by her father. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 27th, at Proko Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
