Anna Rita Locke, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. Born in Dailey, IL, on September 5, before 1989, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ida (Skeffington) Dailey. Ann was educated at Danville High School and St. Mary’s at Notre Dame College. On November 16, 1968, she married John E. Locke in Kankakee, IL. He preceded her in death on October 5, 2000. Ann worked for the University of Notre Dame, the University of Chicago, and various LaSalle Street firms in Chicago. She retired from Jupiter Transportation Company in Kenosha. She belonged to the Bristol Oaks Swingers Golf League for many years and was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic minister at services in the church and in nursing homes and to the homebound. She was also a volunteer at St. Catherine’s Hospital and Hospice Alliance. Survivors include her sister, Regina Flynn; her sister-in-law, Mary (Joseph) Dailey; three nieces, Moira Higgins, Mary Kay (Tim Stephens) Dailey, and Laura (Dick) Danielson; and eight nephews, Bill (Kelley) Higgins, Tom Dailey, Bill (Luke) Dailey, John (Suzanne) Dailey, Joe (Luisa) Dailey, Gene (Sara Paul) Olmsted, David (Anne) Flynn, and Skeffington Flynn. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Dailey; her sister, Mary Ellen Higgins; a niece, Megan Higgins; and two nephews, John Higgins and Tom Higgins. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 12th, at St. Mark Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
