Jo Ann Spiers, 68, of Mundelein, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 30, 2018. Born in Peoria, on November 25, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Doris Brown. On June 27, 1970, she married her high school sweetheart, Rick Spiers. He preceded her in death on January 31, 2003. Survivors include her four daughters, Debra (Richard) Lambert, Tammi (Hervell Harris) Spiers, Becky (Shawn) Hull, and Carrie (Gerald) Clark; nine grandchildren, Nicholas, Nathan, Brandon, Aaron, Alexander, Alexa, Gwenevere, Dreiden, and Cassandra; and a great-granddaughter, Arian. She is further survived by her siblings, DeAnna (Estel) Mabry, Dan (Pat) Brown, Bob (Maria) Brown, Barb Adams and Cindy Gilliland; as well as many nieces, nephews and other loved ones. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Richard Spiers. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 6th, at North Point Church, 900 Lewis Avenue, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Funeral services and interment will be private.
