Mr. Macareno was truly one of the good guys. After living next door to him as an adolescent, I had many opportunities to run into him at community events throughout my careers in Kenosha. He was always quick to extend a hand, flash that trademark smile and inquire as to how I and my family are doing. He was a gentleman in the truest sense of the word. Deepest condolences to the family.

Macareno family, you all have my prayers and my thoughts for peace right now, from the very bottom of my heart. When I think back to many memories our two families shared when we lived on 24th Avenue, I recall your father as steadfast and devout to you all. His quiet, calm manner reminded me of a still pool of deep water. He always gave us a smile and a nod, but few words. My memories of you all are some of my most cherished--you all made my childhood very full. We all had good times together as our "gang" of kids would seek our next adventure together. As those memories cause me to smile, may your many special times with your Dad find you smiling and nodding too. I can't get there to be with you, but you have my heart. I wish you all peace, and Mr. Macareno, Godspeed. My Dad, who we lost just last year, will be there to greet you when you arrive in heaven. Love you all. Susie

Your family have my heartfelt condolences. Death is never easy, and it brings great sorrow. I would like for you to know that in God's Word the Bible, found at John 5:28, 29 these verses tell us about the wonderful promise of a resurrection of our dead love ones. We have the hope of seeing our love ones again. What a joyful time we will have. I hope these verses will comfort you at this difficult time.
