I was so saddened to read Tami's obituary in the newspaper yesterday. We were such good friends when I was in high school in the 1970s, and though I haven't seen her since just before her mother's passing, I often think of her, her mom, stepfather and siblings. I remember fondly playing many card games with Tami, being around when young Rodney was expected and born, and drinking a lot of Pepsi. My heart goes out to her family and friends for this soul gone too soon.

Tami was a person who knew how to appreciate every moment of her life. Because she made it easy to be friends, it is hard to say goodbye. It has been said, Some people come into our lives and leave footprints on our hearts and we are never the same. To Tami's family ...I hope all the cherished memories that you have of Tami bring you some light during this dark time. I will always love and remember you girlie!!
