Eugene F. Rogers, 82, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on January 22, 1936, in Chicago, he was the son of the late Eugene and Kate (Jamsay) Rogers. He served in the United States Marines from 1955 until he was honorably discharged in 1958. On October 21, 1961, he married Doris Haidinger. Eugene worked for American Motors for 14 years painting cars. He always worked for himself as a property owner. He was a member of St. Mary’s Lutheran Church. He enjoyed watching movies and doing yardwork. Eugene is survived by his wife, Doris; his son, Eugene M. Rogers of Racine; his daughter, Doreen (Tom) Wolf of Tucson, AZ; two grandchildren, David Rogers and Emily Rogers; and one brother, James Rogers. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 30th, at Proko Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Green Ridge Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
