Naomi (Westover) Anderson, 94, of Kenosha, died on Thursday, August 16, 2018, in her very own living room with the help of Hospice Alliance and our new friend Enjoli. She was born in Toledo, OH, and raised in Long Island, NY, the daughter of the late Ulric and Betty (Gelenius) Westover. Mom had a wonderful life with the one exception of her only sibling, Richard Brewster Westover, who died in World War II. She cleaned telephones in the Empire State Building. She married Glen C. Anderson on April 24, 1947, and they owned and operated the harbor View Resort in Baileys Harbor for 20 years. She worked in food service at Carthage College for over 20 years. Mom loved The Price Is Right, Matlock, Slim Whitman, and Vince Gill. But most of all, she loved her four children, Karin (Jim) Doyle of Mountain Home, AR, Kris Anderson of Racine, Kit Anderson of Kenosha, and Rich Anderson of Milwaukee; and her three grandsons, Mitch Vetrano of Racine, and Chris Lucchetti and Nick Lucchetti, both of Kenosha. She was the proud godmother of Jeff Klees. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Anderson on November 25, 2002. A special thank you to Dan Archer who always came over at a moments notice to visit and fix any problems around the house.
