My condolences to the family of Evelyn. One of the most important activities of my young life in Kenosha was Church.Evelyn was the organist at the old Mt. Carmel church when I was an altar boy in the mid forties. One Christmas eve I was to serve at Midnight Mass and Evelyn's father died and she could not be the organist that important Christmas Eve. Another parishoner tried but was not very good. I will never forget that Christmas Eve. Evelyn was quiet, kind and quite competent.
