Arthur Joseph Stefani, 86, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018, at Froedtert South-St. Catherine’s Medical Center Campus. Born in Kenosha on December 31, 1931, he was the son of the late Bertillo and Domenica (Mabellini) Stefani. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was educated in local schools. Following school, Arthur served in the US Army during the Korean War until his honorable discharge in 1954. On April 7, 1956, he married Jeanette Alfano. She preceded him in death on February 11, 2004. Arthur was employed as an accountant at American Motors until his retirement. He enjoyed watching Turner Classic Movies and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his three sons, David (Laura), Keith, and Bart (Leslie) Stefani; nine grandchildren, Annette, Ellen, Jake, Dante, Nico, April, Brad, Tyler and Zack; four great-grandchildren, Daniel, Mason, Henry, and Samantha Grace; a son-in-law, Sebastian Kawka; and three siblings, Gloria Hasenberg, Mary Miller, and Albert Stefani. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Anita Kawka on November 5, 2002; and many siblings. So very sorry to hear about Art's passing. I worked with Art for many years at American Motors; sat right across from him for many years. He was such a pleasure to work with and always made me laugh. Also had the pleasure of knowing Jeanette. I have know doubt they are together again with their daughter, Anita, and they are missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing them. Rest in peace Art!
