Frank R. Cistaro, 81, of Kenosha, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Froedtert South-Kenosha Medical Center Campus. Born in Kenosha on April 7, 1937, he was the son of the late Frank and Christine (Greco) Cistaro. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was educated in local schools. Frank served his country in the United States Marines from 1955 until his honorable discharge in 1957. After his service he went on to graduate from University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse with a Bachelor of Science in Business. On July 27, 1963, he married Judy Migliano at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Frank was employed as a claims adjuster for State Farm Insurance for 29 years, retiring in 1999. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and the Loyal Order of the Moose. He was on the swim team when he attended UW-LaCrosse, loved going on trips to casinos, spending Friday’s at Sir Arthur’s playing the video slot machines, and enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s activities. Survivors include his wife, Judy Cistaro of Kenosha; two children, Debra (Scott) Philipps of New Berlin and Frank W. (Cheri) Cistaro of Muskego; a sister, Connie Greco of Kenosha; four grandchildren, Michael and Nicole Philipps, and Lexie and Frankie Cistaro; two sisters-in-law, Jean (Dennis) Kozak and JoAnn (John) Principe, both of Kenosha; and five nieces and nephews, Barbara, Denise, Dennis, Joe, and Jon. Frank will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 7th, at Proko Funeral Home from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. There will be a short prayer service at the funeral home at 6:30 p.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church at 7:00 p.m. Interment will take place on Friday, June 8th, at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove at 10:00 a.m. followed by full military honors.Proko Funeral Home & Crematory5111-60th StreetKenosha, WI 53144Phone: (262) 654-3533Visit & Sign Frank’s Online Memorial Book at:www.prokofuneralhome.com

Judy and family. I was so sad to hear about Frank. He was such a great friend to Tony and a wonderful person.
