Jason Robert Luckhardt, 34, of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, surrounded by his loving family, after fighting for his life following a tragic car accident on March 2nd. Born in Milwaukee, on September 16, 1983, he was the son of Douglas and Beth (Jaqua) Luckhardt. After graduating from Tremper High School in 2002, Jason received his Associate Degree from Gateway Technical College. Jason enjoyed boating, fishing, snowboarding, and loved music and going to concerts. If there was adventure, Jason was there. Jason will be remembered for his charismatic, giving, loyal personality, and for his contagious smile that lit up every room he was in. More than anything else, he loved animals, his friends, and his family. Survivors include his parents, Douglas and Beth Luckhardt; girlfriend, Holly Strauss; three siblings, Douglas (Jenn) Luckhardt II, Kelly (David) Santiago, and Ryan Luckhardt; a nephew, Davian Santiago; and three nieces, Deana Beth, Cassidy Benjamin, and Caryssa Santiago. He is further survived by his beloved dachshund, Petri; other relatives, and friends too many to mention, who he considered to be family as well. Jason’s family would like to thank the staff at Froedtert Trauma 1 for the compassionate care they provided him. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 30th, at Proko Funeral Home, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 31st, at Proko Funeral Home, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
