Ida Rose Bilotti
Ida Rose Bilotti, 86, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at her home. Born in Marano Principato, Calabria, Italy, on December 16, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Filiberto and Emilia (Molinaro) Covelli. She was educated in the schools of Italy. On April 16, 1950, in Italy she married Carmine Bilotti. In 1956 Carmine and Ida moved to Kenosha to make their home. Carmine preceded her in death on November 18, 2016. Ida worked My’s Restaurant for 10 years and then as a cake decorator at Paielli’s Bakery for 24 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother; her love was her family. She loved life and did so much for her family and friends. Ida enjoyed making homemade pasta, tending to her flowers in her garden, canning, and loved to go on vacation with her husband, family and friends. She was so loved and will be sorely missed. Surviving are her two children, Joseph (Kelly) Bilotti and Emilia (Mike) Scott, both of Kenosha; her four grandchildren, Mike Scott, Robert Scott, Marcus Bilotti and Joey Bilotti; and a brother, Armando Covelli of Kenosha. She was preceded in death by a sister, Francesca Covelli; a brother, Annunziato Covelli; and a sister-in-law, Teresa Covelli. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 19th, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church at 12:00 noon. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Monday at Our Lady of Mt.
