Diana Sullivan, 83, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at Brookside Care Center. Born in Kenosha on June 12, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Helen (Wnukowski) Nickel. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was educated in local schools. In 1950, she married Bishop Sullivan in Kenosha. He preceded her in death on August 31, 1994. Diana was employed with American Motors Corporation/Chrysler. She was a former member of St. Therese Catholic Church and a current member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Survivors include her three children, Jimmy (Karen) Sullivan of Kenosha, Teresa Jefferies of Kenosha, and Kevin Sullivan of Independence, MO; three brothers, Eugene (Grace) Nickel of Arizona, Lenny (Pam) Nickel of Salem Lakes, Shelly (Barb) Nickel of Eau Claire, WI; a sister, Ruth Hudson of Kenosha; six grandchildren, Michael (Brittany) Anderson, Becky Brothers, Joe Brothers, Sarah (Michael) Hansen, Randy Sullivan and Ryan (Haleigh) Sullivan; and a great-grandson, Dominick Anderson. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Sullivan; a sister Virginia Nickel; and four brothers, Robert, Ervin, Daniel and Ralph Nickel. Diana’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff of both Brookside Care Center and Hospice Alliance for all the kind and compassionate care they gave her.
