Wanda Sue Hallman

1937 ∼ 2018

Wanda Sue Hallman
Wanda Sue Hallman-Wood (Dilley), went home to our Lord early Monday morning, February 19, 2018, from the comfort of her bed. Sue had a life filled with interest and love. Born to Hattie Christine and Harold Farmington Dodson on October 16, 1937, she was a fourth generation Dodson from Gilmer, Texas. She married her first love, Jerry Dilley. Together, she and Jerry had four wonderful children, Marilyn (Bud Worthington), Paul (Tracy), Christine (Thomas Fields) and Wesley (Marilouise). She retired from Xerox after 22 years of service. After Jerry, Sue was blessed by the love of Jack Wood. Sue and Jack married and lived a happy life together with their family in Christ volunteering regularly at their church in Copell and Lewisville, Texas. After her beloved Jack passed, she moved to Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin to be closer to her family. She resided with her son, Paul (Tracy) for a time and made Wisconsin her second home in her own residence and there received her 27-year chip from Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). She was very proud of this accomplishment and of the years of service to AA that she and Jack gave. A member of Pleasant Prairie Baptist Church, she enjoyed volunteering and serving the Lord and spending as much time with family and friends as possible. All who knew and cared for Sue remember her as a kind and loving person with a beautiful smile and soul. Sue is survived by her sons, Paul (Tracy) and Wesley (Marilouise), her grandchildren, Brent (Heather), Justin (Alecia), Gabriel (Rebecca), Kara, Joshua, Emily, Sam, Lindsey, Christopher, and Sean (Eisenhauer); and her great-grandchildren, Elliott, Philip, Mina, Chance, Lilly, Charlee, William, and Brianna. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 24th, at Proko Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be private.Proko Funeral Home & Crematory5111-60th StreetKenosha, WI 53144Phone: (262) 654-3533Visit & Sign Wanda’s Online Memorial Book at:www.prokofuneralhome.com
