Adalee Glaspie, 96, of Kenosha, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018, at Grande Prairie Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on October 22, 1921, in Youngston, MO, to Ernest and Bonnie (Smith) Pope. She moved from Novinger, MO, to Kenosha in 1952. She married Martin Sullivan and he preceded her in death in 1945. On October 15, 1958, she married Wallace Glaspie; he preceded her in death on August 22, 2000. Adalee was a Licensed Practical Nurse at St. Catherine’s Hospital for 25 years. She enjoyed crocheting, playing the harmonica, watching soap operas and Jeopardy, and listening to Elvis Presley. She is survived by her children, Ernest (Josephine) Sullivan and Sharon (Dennis) Harmer; sisters, Dorothy Patten, Joanne Pearce, Carol Martin, and Patricia Brawner; brother, William (Jeanette) Pope; four grandchildren, William Sullivan, Michael DeFranco, Bob DeFranco and Kathie Berndt; ten great-grandchildren; and many great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Quardokus; granddaughter, Sheryl Stanley; sisters, Cena Hiatt, Jenrose Miller, Leota Blacksmith, Peggy Richmond; brothers, Calvin Pope and Bobby Pope.
