Gary L. Oberst1964 – 2018Gary L. Oberst, 53, passed away Tuesday February 13 at Froedtert South, St. Catherine’s Campus.He was born on August 31st, 1964 in Kenosha and was a lifelong resident.Born to Janet Elaine (Shilling) and Jack Allen Oberst.Gary was a 1982 graduate of Bradford High School. He was previous employed by Kenosha News and Stainless Products in Somers, WI.Gary enjoyed music and played guitar in a local band. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed NASCAR racing as well as being a Pittsburg Steelers and Green Bay Packer Football Fan.He is survived by his mother, Janet Oberst, 3 siblings, David Oberst of Kenosha and Eileen Shulin of Arizona, Randy Oberst of Florida, nieces and nephews, Jamie Shulin, Scott Shulin, Jennifer Oberst (Schroeder), Matthew Oberst and Alyssa Oberst (Mertes).The family would like to thank Dr. Mariani and the medical and spiritual staff of St. Catherine’s Hospital for their comfort and cage given to Gary.Services were private.
