Christopher S. Griffin, 61, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018, at Froedtert South Kenosha Medical Center Campus. Born in Denver, CO, on May 8, 1956, he was the son of the late Myron Griffin and Mary Anne (Hollingsworth) Griffin Lloyd and Barry Lloyd. Chris was a previous member of Christ Lutheran Church in Paddock Lake and recently a member at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, where he was active in the church band, helping maintain the grounds, and even helped during its construction. Chris was part of BRIDGES and NAMI. He volunteered at his apartment complex, with homeless programs, and as hurricane relief support. Aside from his volunteering activities, Chris enjoyed gardening with Down To Earth, being with nature and feeding the birds, fishing, bead working, and his cats. Surviving are his children, Jennifer L’Hote, Loribeth (Raphael) Chenault, and Zachary (Kristen) Griffin; two grandchildren, Lizzie and Rosie; his siblings, Patrick (Tanya Makhlis) Griffin, Kathy (Hugh Jones) Lloyd, Thomas (Elaine) Lloyd, Brian (Bridget) Griffin, and Michelle Griffin; and his ex-wife whom he remained close friends with, Esther Griffin. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 31st, at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 5601 Washington Rd., from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
