Carole Antoinette Jiardine, 96, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 14, 2018, at Aurora Medical Center. Born in Racine on November 13, 1921, she was the daughter of the late James and Carmella (Alfano) Fumo. She graduated from St. Catherine’s High School. On May 20, 1944, she married Fred C. Jiardine at St. Lucy’s Catholic Church in Racine. In 1959 they moved to Kenosha. Fred preceded her in death on August 12, 1994. Carole was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the Roma Lodge Racine and the Parish Ladies Society. She is survived by her son, Donald of Kenosha. Carole was blessed by the wonderful dedicated care of her son, Donald, with whom she lived her last few years. Donald was grateful by the loving support of her dear friend, Mary Jane Haugaard-Lippert. Donald would like to thank all the relatives, friends, Catholic Sisters, and clergy for their love, prayers and support during these months and years of her life. Carole was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a daughter in infancy, Carmella Rose.
