Ramon Garza, 86, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Froedtert South-Kenosha Medical Center Campus, with his loving family by his side. Born in Cotulla, TX, on August 15, 1931, he was the son of the late Alejandro and Maria (Trevino) Garza. On October 11, 1955, Ramon married Jesusita Ynclan in Chicago, IL. Together they moved to Kenosha in 1956. He was a member at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Ramon was a hard worker throughout his life. After retiring from the black top business, he continued to landscape in the summer and snow plow in the winter. In his spare time, he enjoyed cheering on his favorite Wisconsin sports teams; the Packers, Brewers and Badgers. He is survived by his wife, Jesusita; three daughters, Eva (Paul) Kirsch of Kenosha, Alma (Jeff) Barsuli of Pleasant Prairie, and Amanda (Rick) Andraschko of Kenosha; three sisters, Maria Luisa Carreon, Margarita Ramirez, and Vencha Rodriguez; three brothers, Alejandro (Maria Elena) Garza, Juan (Rosario) Garza, and Rafael (Vicki) Garza; five grandchildren, Vincent, Alex, Rebecca, Kyle, and Rachel; and one great grandchild, Luke. Ramon was preceded in death by two sisters, Aurora and Beatrice; and one brother, Manuel. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff on 6 Palmer for their compassionate care. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 27th, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 1919 54th Street, from 8:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church would be appreciated by the family.
