Robert C. “Bob” Hoyt, 73, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at Froedtert South-St. Catherine’s Medical Center Campus, in the embrace of his loving wife. Born on April 26, 1944, in Birmingham, AL, he was the son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Smith) Hoyt. Bob served in the US Air Force until his honorable discharge in 1966. Following his military service, Bob completed his education and worked as an IT Data Processor for several businesses over the years. Bob enjoyed having “just one more” drink with his many friends. Surviving Bob is his wife, Mary Wistrand Hoyt of Kenosha; a brother, Wally (Debra) Hoyt of Lowell, IN; a sister-in-law, Nancy Hucker of Kenosha; two nephews, Aaron Hoyt and Daniel (Nikki) Hucker; a niece, Keri Castillo; and his great-niece, Evelyn. He was preceded in death by a niece, Heather Rue Hoyt. Bob’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff at St. Catherine’s Medical Center and Dr. Susan Cable for all of their love and support. They further wish to thank their many loving friends who have helped them through this difficult time. His family would like to remind everyone to “remember the hugs.” No services were held at Bob’s own request.Proko Funeral Home & Crematory5111-60th StreetKenosha, WI 53144Phone: (262) 654-3533Visit & Sign Bob’s Online Memorial Book at:www.prokofuneralhome.com
